Let me guess. 2020 threw a bit of a curve ball at your business/career? Welcome to the club! We have spent the better part of 2020 navigating so many unknowns.
We’ve dealt with a rise of racism and police brutality against black people. We’ve dealt with a dismissive judicial system who still hides behind systemic racism and politics. We’ve dealt with a pandemic with data and recommendations that change fluidly.
We’ve also dealt with a shift in the economy. Lower flight costs, real estate buyers market, and an influx of support for small businesses, especially black owned businesses.
As we move into the second half of the year and the third quarter of the year, I challenge you to make some deep reflections. Consider your trials but don’t stop there. Recall your vision, recall your goals, and your action plans and if you’ve been reluctant, stuck, or you've just been procrastinating (no judgment), I challenge you to get to work.
There are way too many resources available for your success. I need you to flourish in your career and excel in your business. Someone is counting on you, on your gifts, your skills, your talent, and your contribution to the world. Don’t let them down, don’t let yourself down.
